See it as your clubs will see it
This is Startlist running a real competition, screen by screen — a club signing up, building its roster and entering competitors, an organiser approving clubs and opening entries, and a judge scoring on a tablet at the judges' table.
Nothing here is a mock-up. Every screen is the working software, photographed as it runs.
Read this first
What you are looking at is configured for one federation.
The competition in these screenshots belongs to the Croatian Majorette Association: their age groups, their disciplines — baton, formations, first step, higher step — their criteria, their penalties and their price list. None of it is fixed. Yours is set up from your own rulebook, and the vocabulary on screen becomes your sport's vocabulary. Read the screens for the shape of the work, not for the category names. And if something does not suit you — a screen, a step, anything in the judging apps or anywhere else in the software — we change it. That is how we work with every federation, without exception. We also give each federation its own look: your colours, your logo, your wording. Once it is set up, the people using it see your organisation's software — not a Startlist logo on someone else's product.
Getting in
A club or a federation office opens an account. Everyone picks their own language at the top of the screen and the whole thing follows.
What a club does
The club keeps its own roster and enters its own competitors. This is the part of the work that used to arrive in the organiser's inbox as a spreadsheet.
What the organiser does
The federation office approves clubs, publishes competitions, sets categories and prices, and watches entries come in against its own rules.
Yours will not look like this
The screens above are one federation's configuration. The work is the same everywhere a panel scores a performance, but the words on screen are not. Set up for your sport, these change:
- Age groups, and how they may overlap
- Disciplines and equipment — baton, pom, hoop, apparatus, whatever yours are
- Judging criteria, their weights and their maximums
- Penalties and deductions, named the way your rulebook names them
- Team sizes, entry limits and which combinations are allowed
- Your price list, your discounts, and what a competitor is allowed to see
- The look is fitted to your federation — your colours, your logo, your wording — so clubs and judges see their own federation's software
